Review of Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum

I have been a gigantic fan of Boots No 7 since trying out my first product about a year ago. Ever since I believe I have managed to buy and try just about every single product the company has made readily available.

Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum has been my latest find, and I have been using it every single morning before applying my makeup, for about a month now. My opinion is mixed.

The Promises:

Like most beauty lotions, serums or facial treatments, the promise if for younger looking skin. Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum is no exception. Does it work though? Does it reveal younger looking skin?

Besides younger skin, it promises that in 4 weeks your pores will be shrunken, and the appearance of wrinkles will be reduced. Yes, ladies, all that in 4 weeks. Let's just see about that.

First the Good

Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum glides on the skin like silk. It gives me such an excellent base to work with before applying makeup. For that alone I love this stuff. I also like that I do not need a whole lot of it to cover my face in its entirety.

After application of Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Beauty Serum my skin is left feeling clean as a whistle, super soft, and moisturized to perfection without a greasy gross texture being left behind. It's like instant spa on your face.

The next thing I love about this serum is that it actually seems to plump out the fine lines near my eyes just about instantly.

Finally I like that applying it in the morning, leaves my skin feeling soft, silky and perfect all day long.

Now The Bad

The plumping of fine lines is short lived and there is no long term correction of them, none I can see anyway. It seems the plumping of fine lines works the moment you apply it, but the effect wears off about an hour later.

The long term results are also very, very minimal on my pores size. Even after using it daily for 4 weeks now, my pores seem to be the same size they always were.

Overall:

Regardless of the results being bare minimal, I truly love how this one leaves my skin feeling all day long. I do not experience dry patches, greasy skin, or anything of that nature. It seems as if it keeps my skin chemistry balanced out perfectly so shine is barely there anymore, and dry patches are non-existent.

I also love how well it works hand in hand with my foundation, and that it allows me to more easily spread my foundation around my face without clogging pores, or caking up anywhere.

The serum is wonderful, regardless of the negative aspects, and I will still continue to use it, and re-purchase it.
