Review of Boundless Tress

I am always on the look out for new products that would help me on the road to long and healthy hair. I am a member of various hair boards which constantly have raves almost every month about new products that are great for healthy hair and stimulate growth. I have come across Boundless Tress recently.

Now Boundless Tress or BT as some hair board posters now call it was started by someone after hearing about how bad MTG (Mane-Tail Growth oil) smell. She decided mixing olive oil and sulfur among other things would be the solution to the problem. She claimed it enable her to grow her hair long and has been using it for one year. Many of her customers have also said the same thing. I was curious about this "miracle" product. Would it do what others claim it does: grow my hair within a certain time frame?

Starting from $13 and going up to $57 plus shipping and handling, I was a bit skeptical about shelling out money for another rave that would soon die down on these hair boards. However, I went ahead and purchased the $13 plus shipping and handling. Before using it I decided to wait a week so I could adjust to a new routine. I wanted Boundless Tress to be the only product I used after washing my hair to see its full effect.

After using BT for about two month, I concluded that this product wasn't worth the $13 plus shipping and handling. I did not notice any major hair growth or that my hair was any healthier than before. I had made sure I followed the direction to shake the bottle so that no sulfur was left at the bottom. The smell was alright but I am not a major fan of olive oil. In my opinion, BT wasn't anything new or anything I couldn't make on my own. In fact that was exactly what I did. I went out and brought my own sulfur and other oils both scented and unscented and created my own product to better suit my needs.

There are many free homemade hair recipes sites out there. One such site I have used constantly is http://www.motowngirl.com. The hair recipes are great for healthy hair and it is something I make from home. With a little tweaking here and there, I am able to make homemade hair products that sometimes last 3 months. I was also able to make my own "BT" at home which gave a better result than the one I brought.
