Review of My Brothers Place Restaurant in Washington D.C

I had the displeasure of visiting a bar called My Brothers Place. My Brothers Place Bar and Grill is a hole in the wall located between two federal buildings at 237 2nd St NW Washington DC 2001. This dive bar has three floors and an outdoor patio for smokers. The main floor bar has a bar section and another section for dining. The upstairs is simply a smaller bar. My Brothers Place is a bar you might go to lunch for, but never a night out in DC.

The place is not easy to find and is hidden between two government buildings. Do not follow their worthless directions on their website because you will get lost. Also do not take Union Station because it is further than Judiciary Square. Just walk down 3rd towards Constitution and take a left. Then take a left on 2nd and My Brothers Place is hidden between two large buildings. It looks like a row of old brick townhouses with a patio out front.

The bar is three floors and an outside patio with a heater for smokers. The upstairs was too crowed so we stayed on the ground level. The ground level has the warmest beer you could even want; ranging from room temperature to undrinkable. They were also kind enough to leave the front doors open so it was freezing inside. Upstairs they only serve Pabst Blue Ribbon, and Guinness. They were at least cold and we were also given free wings since we were pushed out of the first floor. The basement held the bathrooms which were colder than outside.

The food was good from what we tried, but keep your eyes on the bar because if they cannot pronounce your name they will just let your food sit then lie and say they called your name. I will never go back to this bar.
