Burning Rock trails consist of 100s of miles of terrain situated on the 8,000 acres of adventure park in southern West Virginia. You can bring your own ATV or you can rent one at the Burning Rock entrance. However, all ATV's must have or purchase a Burning Rock Outdoor Adventure Park Permit to access and ride the trails. The cost of the permit to a resident of the state for a yearlong permit costs $35 and a yearly out-of-state permit for a non-resident costs $60 for a year. Also, you can purchase a one-day permit for $20 as well as a 3-7 day permit for $35. You have to place the permit on your helmet when you ride the trails throughout the Burning Rock area because you'll more than likely get stopped by the parks staff.
