There are high ceilings, beautiful polished granite! Now if a restaurant has granite you know that it is a fancy high class kind of place. There are so many beautiful elements to this place I really can't describe them all and I would encourage you too just go and check it out for yourself. There are even rooms upstairs that you can reserve for special events or business meetings.
There are so many delicious treat's that you can try here. The menu is definitely not typical and there are probably a good number of things that you most likely won't even recognize! You should try the goat cheese wrapped in bacon, baked and served on a bed of spinach! Now this is the kind of dish that you are not going to find replicated somewhere else! Another item that you might want to try is homemade Venetian and Tuscan dipping cookie that is served with orange infused liquor. This will be a treat to remember!
Just so you know all of their food is not fancy. They do have more simple options which are great for if you decide to bring kids. The pizza is amazing and is usually a great choice for a family to share. They also have wonderful salads too that could serve as a main course itself. There are many options; you might find that it is hard to make up your mind about what to eat.
If you are dining alone when you eat here I would highly recommend that you sit at the bar. The bar was also remodeled in 2006 and has a charming Italian appeal to it. The bar is not as quiet and there is quite a bit more activity going on there, but it is a great chill spot if you are eating alone.
Another recommendation I have is to sit on the back patio. The patio is lovely because it is enclosed, but yet it allows you to experience the great outdoors while being covered from bugs and other little pests. This is a really nice spot because it is more to the quiet side and away from the bustle of the bar.
As you could probably imagine since this place is in Hollywood that parking would be an issue. I wish Hollywood would do something about that already, I think more people would enjoy going out there if there were some better parking situations.
Anyway, they do have valet parking for a decent fee. However, just from eating here you will already be spending quite a bit, so I would say to just park on the street. If you need to just come a little bit earlier so that you and find free parking on the street. There is free street parking on La Brea Street.
