Review of the Casablanca Hotel in New York City

The Casablanca Hotel is a wonderful hotel located in New York City. What I think you will most enjoy about staying here is that you will feel like you are in a secluded place. The overall look and atmosphere makes you feel like you are in the mountains because it has a fancy cabin appeal.

Rick's Café is the place that you will want to eat at while you stay here. Every morning you can go in there and find a delicious spread. What I like the most about Rick's Café is that they do give you a lot of options. They don't just give you the typical bagel and croissants. There are other good eats to enjoy like fresh fruit, eggs, juices, cereal, yogurt, cookies, candies, hot chocolate and so much more.

The only thing about Rick's Café that is a little bit disappointing is the fact that they don't have enough servers. Sometimes when you walk in you might see tables that are quite messy and there is not enough help to get that cleaned up quickly. Other than that there is really nothing to complain.

If you like some good ole fashioned piano music than you can enjoy the tones of James Newman every Friday night from 5-8pm. You can head over to Rick's Café and pick up a little dinner before and then go and to his beautiful music. He tends to play classic songs, songs from movies and Casablanca style songs. So, he really seems to have a good mix for the audience sake.

One thing that many of you might really appreciate is the fact that you will be in a smaller quainter environment. This is really nice because most of the New York hotels are huge and pretty packed out. So, if you desire to get away from all the hustle and busyness this is the place for you.

Another small, but important feature is that you will be able to control the temperature in your room! That is a big deal to me at least. Most hotels have their settings that only the staff have the power to control. In your room you have the power to control the temperature and that is really cool.

The staff is great; they really know the city and can pretty much tell you where to go and what to do for fun. Some of the staff even know where the hidden discounted stores are and how to get the best deals.

Oh one more thing that I would like to mention is that their breakfast options are great for kids. There is orange juice, fresh fruit, cereal and yogurt. There are plenty of other choices that the kids would enjoy, but those are just the basics.

The room rates here are more the expensive side, but I think it is justifiable because everything about this hotel is great. You can stay here for $420.00 a night!
