Before I go to bed I like to have a cup of herbal sleepy tea to help relax my mind and promote sleepiness since I do not fall asleep easily. One of my favorite sleepy teas to have is the Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Vanilla Herbal Tea. This tea helps soothe the mind and body using natural herbs and a calming vanilla aroma and flavor.
The Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Vanilla Herbal Tea comes in a box with twenty pillow style tea bags inside. Each tea bag contains a blend of soothing herbs in it such as lemongrass, vanilla beans, blackberry leaves, spearmint, chamomile, rosebuds, hawthorn and orange blossoms. These herbs help promote relaxation and sleep naturally and they contain antioxidants that help nourish the body and protect it from free radical cells.
The way I make this sleepy time vanilla herbal tea is by first placing one tea bag into a teacup. Then I take my tea kettle and fill it with water and boil the water. Once the water is boiled I pour about a cup of the water over the teabag and allow the teabag to steep for about 10 minutes to help draw out this herbal teas flavor and relaxation properties. When the tea is made properly it has a lovely light vanilla aroma, a deep golden brownish color and a lovely vanilla berry taste that is light and soothing to drink. Anyways, once the tea is ready I sip it down slowly as it is, but you can add honey or sugar if you prefer. I just think the flavor is pleasant just the way it is.
Now with me one cup of this sleepy time tea is all I need to help put me to sleep. Usually after once sip of this tea I begin to feel sleepy and by the third or fourth sip I am out cold snoozing away on my pillow. This tea works wonders and if you're less than 115 pounds like me I wouldn't recommend having more than one cup of this tea because you will be out cold for at least a good nine hours. However, I do get a goodnight sleep when I drink this tea and I do not feel fatigued or drowsy in the morning at all. In fact, I feel well rested and energized. I feel this sleepy time tea works better than any over the counter sleeping medication.
I would highly recommend the Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Vanilla Herbal Tea to anyone to have before bedtime to help them get to sleep because it works well for me. However, if you have any allergies to any of the herbs in this herbal tea I would not recommend drinking it. Now if you do try this sleepy time tea I do hope you like it and enjoy the way it puts you to sleep as much as I do. I wish you all some sweet dreams ahead.
