Why Charter Digital Cable Internet Rocks
#1 Benefit of Charter Charter Digital Cable Internet as an ISP: First of all, it's always on. If you are still using a dial-up ISP or are unhappy with DSL, consider switching over to digital cable. I have not tried other digital cable companies, only Charter, and I have no complaints about them.
With digital cable there is no logging on, no waiting for the Internet signal and no interruption in the Internet service when the phone rings. I can't imagine anyone not having digital cable if it is available in their area. Whenever I want or need to check something online or dash off a quick message, I can do it immediately.
Having digital cable makes using the Internet even more efficient.
#2 Benefit of Charter Charter Digital Cable Internet as an ISP: Charter Digital Cable Internet Service is extremely reliable. The Internet has been "out" for less than five hours in the four years that we have had it.
When I used Earthlink, it was extremely unreliable. Other dial up services, from local phone companies were almost as unreliable.
#3 Benefit of Charter Charter Digital Cable Internet as an ISP: It's fast.
Using Charter Digital Cable Internet service makes the Internet everything it's supposed to be. Pages load quickly, even those with heavy graphics and advertisements. Photos and other files upload and download quickly as well.
Charter Digital Cable Internet is so fast that it does not allow time for multi-tasking. There is no walking away to make a sandwich or do a load of laundry while you wait for the a task to complete.
#4 Benefit of Charter Digital Cable Internet as an ISP: It's not that expensive.
Charter Digital Cable is no more expensive than DSL. There are also different speed and rate tiers from which Internet customers choose.
Tips for Using Charter Digital Cable Internet as an ISP: Rather than rent a cable modem from Charter, or any other digital cable company, purchase a cable modem of your own. It will quickly pay itself off.
The biggest drawback to Charter Digital Cable Internet is that they try to keep upgrading your cable speed package, even though the very lowest speed packages available are more than sufficient. Although the price nearly doubles from going to up three tiers, there is not that much of a noticeable difference in the actual speed.

Post a CommentI went with satellite TV, after doing a bunch of research it seemed the most practical thing to do. I chose Dish Network after being with Charter for a few years, there were some economical reasons involved and I was pretty impressed with the technology available at the time. Now I'm really impressed! I didn't know much about satellite TV until I started working for Dish Network but once I saw the advantages I started researching the companies in my area. I have a rather large house so I needed quite a few rooms equipped with TV. I was able to get my first 3 HD receivers free and chose to also equip a dual DVR, giving me two guest rooms good to go with one receiver. I have 100% digital programming available and twice as many programming choices as other providers. I was so excited when Free HD was released to existing customers due to the savings on my bill each month. I'm really comfortable being with a service provider that has been rated number one in customer service am
Dear Tyler, I received no compensation from Charter, that would be unethical. Also, under new FCC rules (which were not in place when I wrote this), there would need to be a disclaimer. Just because your experience has not been good does not mean mine could not be good. They will credit you for outages if you ask.
b.s. how much did they pay you to say that? charter has terrable customer service and the internet is unreliable. it has had 4 outages in the past 3 years that ive had it. the outages lasted for days at a time and there was nothing that i could do about it
guys if u have charter high speed internet sevice u can watch free cable channels on tv just connect the cable to tv and its all works
If u can get anything other than charter then do it. They are garbage
