The main fare of Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant is pizza. They also offer a limited variety of sandwiches and appetizers, an all you can eat salad bar, refillable drinks and a few desserts.
When you enter the restaurant, you immediately come to the host's station. Here, everyone in your party has their hand stamped with an identifying number or letter that can only be seen with an ultraviolet light. The stamp insures the safety of the children. When you leave the restaurant, you must first show your stamped hand so that they can verify that the children you accompany are indeed part of your party. I really appreciate this safety precaution.
One of the things that the kids love best about Chuck E. Cheese's in Indianapolis, Indiana has to be the game room. The game room features various games, kiddy rides, a ball pit, a photo machine and skee ball. In the game room, you can earn tickets that later can be redeemed for prizes. All the games operate on tokens that you can purchase along with your pizza.
Another attraction at Chuck E. Cheese's is the stage. On the stage, there are life-sized animated animal figures that dance, play musical instruments and sing. Chuck E. Cheese accompanies the mechanical band. Chuck E. Cheese is the restaurant's mascot. He is an adult-sized costumed character that greets the kids with smiles and handshakes.
We purchased a pizza and token combination packaged that featured a large pizza, 40 tokens and 4 small soft drinks. The total cost of our meal came to $21.20. The thin-crust sausage pizza arrived at our table piping and loaded with sausage. We all enjoyed it.
After we had finished eating, it was off to the game room. The tokens went almost as fast as the pizza had. The kids enjoyed the rides and I especially loved the crane game. We redeemed our tickets for some small prizes and then it was time to go home.
Chuck E. Cheese's, located in Indianapolis Indiana, offers birthday packages that include pizza, decorations, party favors, birthday cake, balloons, a special visit from Chuck E. Cheese and a host to serve your needs.
Chuck E. Cheese's is very popular family pizza place. It is always crowded but this especially true on the weekends. Reservations are accepted but not necessary. I would recommend it to anyone interested in having a good time with his or her family but would advise that you visit during their weekday hours to avoid the crowds.
