Circle Round and Sing! is the companion CD to the best-selling book, Circle Round: Raising Children in Goddess Traditions by Starhawk, Diane Baker and Anne Hill. All but six songs are found the book, the six are old and new favorites of the authors. For a list of which are in the book, visit www.circleround.com or call Anne Hill at Serpentine Music (1-800-270-5009).
In the title is states that this is music for Goddess Traditions, but even I, a pagan made up of a mixture of Gaelic Traditionalism and Modern Druidry, found them immensely enjoyable and plan to use a few within my own rituals. I especially loved 'Holy Water, Sacred Flame.' A perfect song for Imbolc! My overall favorites are 'Ocean Lullaby,' 'Fur and Feathers,' 'Tree Wassail,' 'Holy Water, Sacred Flame' and 'Return to Me, Beloved.' All songs which left me singing throughout my daily activities.

I particularly liked how some are not overtly "pagan" or "wiccan" and allow me to sing them to my niece and nephews (whom are not pagan). 'Tree Wassail' is a fantastic song that they really enjoyed. If you are looking for a collection of fun, moving and beautiful songs to teach your children the love of the Goddess, look no further than this exceptional collection!
