Instead of accomplishing only one thing, that is, moisturizing dry skin, the Dual Action Moisturizer does something else; it treats any current pimples and helps prevent new ones from showing up, or so the label says.
The Dual Action moisturizer contains salicylic acid, which is an acne medication. It helps dry up current acne and helps treat the skin by killing off any bacteria that may be present. That bacterium is what causes acne to occur.
The directions for using this product are simple; first you must clean your face and then cover the entire affected area with a thin layer of moisturizer anywhere from one to three times a day.
I decided to try this the first day I brought it home. I automatically noticed that the lotion was considerably lighter than a lot of other face moisturizers that are on the market today. Instead of going on heavy and hard to smooth out, it goes on easily and quickly. It is absorbed by your skin quickly and does not leave behind any greasy or oily residue. Within a few days, I noticed a definite change in the appearance of my skin. It did not leave my skin oily like the other moisturizers did. In fact, I noticed a decrease in the oiliness, and a definite increase in the amount of acne I had.
The moisturizer doesn't clog pores either; therefore I had to worry less about washing my face in the morning. I could spend more time on my morning routine instead of worrying about washing my face and applying more moisturizer, I could spend my time doing other important things. Another great thing about this product isn't actually the moisturizer itself, it's the bottle. Instead of having a nozzle that you cannot close, increasing the risk of accidentally pushing it and wasting lotion, the nozzle can be closed. A quick twist closes the bottle and then you are done.
However, one thing I have noticed about this lotion is the fact that you may need to reapply lotion after a few hours. Because it isn't heavy and because it's absorbed quickly, it doesn't really keep your skin feeling soft and moisturized. You may not have to apply it to your entire face however. Just concentrate on the areas that need it the most. You don't want to over do it on moisturizer!
If you are in the market for a new moisturizer, I definitely recommend the Dual Action Moisturizer from Clean and Clear. I do not think you'll be disappointed!

Post a CommentI have a tingly feeling too! I don't have severe acne, and I don't mind if one or two TINY blemishes pop out, but if they're HUGE, it's a big deal. But so far, no break outs, blemishes are treated, and my face is moisturized. For a moisturizer, this is a bit drying. I have eczema and dry sensitive skin, so I have to use a different moisturizer (I use Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion). I TOTALLY recommend this product, BUT if it doesn't work for you, you don't lose much. It's like about 6 bucks. Everyone's skin is different, so keep that in mind.
I have looked for clean & clear moisturizer with spf 15 and can not find it in any of the drugstores. Can anyone tell me where to find it besides the internet?
No, I'm sorry but I bought it like a month ago, thinking that it would help me with my 2 pimples. Instead, my pimples got worse, and the areas where the moisturizer touched got pimples! Not just like pop 'em pimples but HUGE volcanoes!!! I then thought that it could have been my really sensitive skin; but then my mom tried it and she's never had a pimple in her life and she's 40 and she got 2 HUGE volcanoe-like pimples. So NO, I do NOT recommend this product. Splurge on something that WILL work, or just but Neutrogena I heard it's supposed to work really well!
so your acne increased when using this...?
This product it sort of new and I just bought it 2 days ago, but is your skin supposed to feel cool and tingly when you apply it? I'm just wondering if everyone is experiencing the same thing..?
