Cold Glass Pain (edited by Christopher J. Hall)

Introduction by James A. Moore

Cover Illustration by D.E. Christman.

Yes, this book is published by Lulu so you know it's self published, but does that mean it's a bad book? Not necessarily.

This is a collection of twenty three tales of terror by twenty one authors. Some of the authors are known and some are unpublished. A list of the authors are:

Gord Rollo, Mary Kirkland, Shana Dines, Murray Leeder, Brutal Dreamer, Nancy Jackson, Lucy Kisina, R. Thomas Riley, Michael Stone, Leila Eadie, Paul Williams, J.R. Cain, Ken Goldman, K.A. Patterson, Alexander Reinhard, Karl El-Koura, Kurt Newton, Douglas T. Araujo, Steven Deighan, Kevin Anderson, John Dixon.

Did you catch it? Yep, "Mary Kirkland" That's yours truly and I'm excited to be published in the same book as some of these authors. A good friend of mine is also published in this anthology, "Shana Dines" and her short story 'A Friend for Sara' is the most chilling tale I've had the pleasure of reading.

The stories in this anthology are creepy, thought provoking and sometimes terrifying. The authors did a great job packing intriguing and excellent story telling in just a few pages. Each short story held it's own making the entire collection a great read.

Published by Mary Kirkland

The authors that publish with lulu.com really would love it if more people went over there an took a look at their books. Mostly they just get their family and friends to buy their books at first until they have a large fan base. So If your looking for something different...might give them a try.

The only bad things about self publishing a book is once you stop the POD (publish on demand) you really can't find the book anywhere else. The editor of this book decided not to keep publishing it so It's no longer available. But it was alot of fun to do. :(

A suggestion, I guess we could go to Lulu, and do a search for the book. I am new at AC, but I think the rules would allow including info onto where people can to purchase the book of for more info, in the text of the article. I sent you a message, so maybe you can include the link when you reply. Just call me "Lazy Mary", for some reason was unable to copy to link in box above to paste in browser. Sounds like a great book. Self-publishing is a great way to get your work published. Congratulations on being published!
