Review: Comfort Inn Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland
Small Rooms that Show Their Age Reduce Value of Great Location
The location is right on the edge of the more crowded area of the Ocean City, Maryland boardwalk. You are only a five minute walk from the heart of the entertainment of the boardwalk area. This includes arcades, two piers with rides, games, several bars, and many restaurants. The restaurants range from snacks and fast food to fine dining including great seafood. It is even located within 3 blocks of my favorite all-you-can-eat restaurant. That smorgasbord is Paul Revere's Restaurant and it works great as an option to eat a large meal either for late lunch or early dinner. That way you can take advantage of the location of the Comfort Inn Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland and snack your way from stand to stand on the boardwalk the rest of the night.
The Comfort Inn Boardwalk in Ocean City, Maryland is a hotel with both an indoor pool and an oceanfront pool in case you want to relax in the hotel. Honest, you are probably better off relaxing at the pool than in your rooms at the Comfort Inn Board hotel. The rooms are really old, and clearly have seen their damage from teenagers partying at the beach. The rugs are worn, and honestly the rooms have a musty smell to them. There is no kitchenette or even a microwave. You do have a refrigerator in your room, but it is very small. The televisions are also very much out of date, but they do have cable in the rooms.
These rooms are definitely not what you would expect when you are paying $260 to $290 for a two person room in Ocean City, Maryland during the summer at the Comfort Inn Boardwalk hotel. Obviously you are paying for the location as I mentioned above. The location is very nice as you are indeed just two to three blocks from the busiest part of the boardwalk and still fall enough away that you can sleep without being kept awake by the noise. Of course that is is you can handle the small hotel rooms with a musty smell. I wouldn't recommend this as a romantic get-away location, but if you are a group of friends going to the beach and just need a room to sleep in it works well.

- The location is perfect as it is two blocks from the busiest part of the boardwalk but quiet
- The hotel has very small rooms that have an odd musty odor.
- Don't forget about the Paul Revere all you can eat restaurant just 3 blocks away on the boardwalk
