Reserving the room at the Comfort Suites in Kodak was a breeze. The reservation website is user friendly and walks you through the entire process. You will need your credit card. If you want to apply a AAA discount you will need to have your membership card.

Getting there.
You can find the Comfort Suites in Kodak, Tennessee just off of the interstate. Finding it is a little tricky. There isn't a plaque on the road sign to help you find it. I also thought the directions on the website were less than helpful. It is across the interstate from the Bass Pro Shops at the website states. However, the Comfort Suites is down a side street next to the Quality Inn.

If you are coming from Knoxville on I-40 exit at 407. Turn left off of the interstate. Take the first street on the right. Go about a 2 blocks and you'll see the hotel sign. Pull into the parking lot and there you are.

Travelers going toward Knoxville on I-40 will exit at 407. Turn away from the Bass Pro Shops and cross the interstate. Immediately past the off ramp you will see a street to the right. Go about 2 blocks. You will see the sign for the Comfort Suites of Kodak on the hill ahead of you.

At the Comfort Suites in Kodak you enter the rooms from the interior. Smoking and pets are not allowed.

Staff
Eric was on the desk when I checked in. He was as pleasant and efficient as they come. Most importantly, he didn't announce my room number.

Eric wound up helping me several times. He gave an excellent recommendation for a restaurant with delivery service. They came right to the Comfort Suites in Kodak with no problem.

I also had to ask Eric for help with copies and again for a forgotten item. For all of this he was friendly and helpful. I noticed his interactions with other guests were just as professional.

Accommodations
The room at this Comfort Suites turned out to be a divided room with a king bed and the mother load of four soft fluffy pillows. Sleeping was literally a dream. The only problem was in waking up in the morning. A good hot shower took care of that (eventually).

My room at the Comfort Suites in Kodak has a couch, coffee table on one side of a half wall. The fridge and microwave are in their own cabinet. A desk offers plenty of work space and a large flat screen tv sits on top of a small chest of drawers. There is also a coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron and board and plenty of space to move around.

Staying connected to the internet was no problem. Even up on the 3rd floor the signal is steady and strong. A business center is downstairs in case you don't have your netbook or if you happen to have connectivity issues.

Amenities
Breakfast is from 6:30 am '" 9:30 pm. The Comfort Suites in Kodak has an enhanced version of a continental breakfast. There is cereal, bagels, toast, fresh fruit juice and waffles. They also have gravy, eggs and sausage.

Other amenities included a meeting room and coin laundry on the second floor. Ice and vending are on each floor. Sodas include both Coca-Cola and Pepsi products. This hotel has an inviting swimming pool and hot tub on the first floor. It is close enough to the attractions and interstate to make it relatively convenient.

If I tried very, very hard I might find something to dislike about this hotel. In reality, this Comfort Suites in Kodak is the best hotel stay I've had since I don't remember when.
