Review: Comodynes Set of 32 Self-Tanning and Exfoliating Towelettes

With all of the advice out there reminding us to protect our skin with sunscreen and shade, you may be disappointed that you won't be getting that dark tan this summer. There is a variety of products on the market that will give you a tan without the skin damage you would get from sun or tanning bed exposure. The Comodynes Set of 32 Self-Tanning and Exfoliating Towelettes for $40 from QVC give a great, safe tan. These towelettes are high quality and give a believable looking tan with barely any work.

The secret to getting an even fake tan is to make sure you exfoliate before applying the self-tanner. By exfoliating first, the tanner will stick to new skin rather than sinking into dry spots and making them darker than their surroundings. The great thing about this set is that it comes with Comodynes special Easy Peeling towelettes which are used before the self-tanner to smooth out your skin. Eight exfoliating towelettes come with the package.

The set of 24 towelettes are full of the self-tanner. The great thing about this brand is that the self-tanner applies clear. While it is wet, you do not need to worry about it transferring to clothes or towels and staining them. This way, you can get dressed right after and not have to worry about sitting around waiting for your skin to dry.

The towelettes should be used about every third day to maintain your tan. If you are looking to get a quick tan for a special event, such as a wedding, you can use the towelettes up to twice a day to speed the process along. You can choose how often you want to use them to get the desired darkness of tan you are looking for, so it is very customizable.

I really like that there is no bottle to carry around. The packets are light and portable which makes them perfect for packing for vacation or going to the gym. You only need to bring the amount you need for the time you will be gone.

While the price might be higher than other self-tanners, compared to the cost of going to a spray-on tanning booth it is still less expensive. This method also saves you time because you do not need to go to the store each time you want to work on your tan.

I recommend this product for anyone who is interested in protecting their skin from the sun but still wants a nice tan for the summer months.
