There's nothing difficult about visiting Culver's restaurant in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Located on 124th Street, just south of Capitol Drive, the restaurant is conveniently located and offers both a sit-down area as well as a drive through. Outdoor seating directly off the main dining room is available during the warmer months.

Service at Culver's is efficient and friendly, especially at the drive-thu. Although it takes longer than other fast food chains to prepare their food (due to their grilling time), the lines both indoor and at the drive-thru move quickly even when very busy.

Menu items range from the traditional butter burgers to fish fry to healthier salads, all running under $10 each.

The kids menu is always a favorite when we have children in our party. Chicken fingers are large, resembling a chicken breast more than "cookie cutter" shapes. Kids always appreciate the souvenir cup, as well as the scoop of custard that comes with their meals. Economical, the entire meal costs under $5. Kids meals also come with prize tokens that can be redeemed for Culvers merchandise such as t-shirts, footballs, and free kids meals. One under-12 member of our family states that Culver's has "the best chicken fingers in town".

For adults, the walleye special is a great alternative to the cod fish fry, although a little more expensive (but still under $10). Providing a generous portion of fish, the meal also comes with coleslaw, bread, and French fries. The butter burger is also a safe bet, although during busier times staff tends to brown the edges of the burger too long.

Fried cheese curds are a favorite as an appetizer, and offer a large amount for under $4. This are easily enough to share with a family of four.

Custard is a requisite at this restaurant. Creamy, but not too rich, Culver's custard seems to have the right blend of sweetness and creamy flavor. For under $3, a scoop or two is always in order. For those with serious sweet tooths, sundaes or concrete mixes are sure to please pallets. Culvers posts the flavor of the day on the outside marquee, but you can also look on their website.

The Culvers in Brookfield hosts "Two-wheeled Tuesdays" every Tuesday evening starting at 6pm in the back parking lot. Beginning in spring and ending in late fall, motorcycles from near and far congregate to admire each other's bikes, and to talk motorcycles. Classic Harley Davidsons are common, as are bikes with amazing custom paint jobs. The restaurant fills up quickly on these Tuesdays - it's best to arrive early if you're concerned about crowds.
