Review: Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs
Delizza Patisserie's Belgian Mini Cream Puffs Make a Delectable, Delightful Dessert for Any Occasion
Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs are a special dessert treat that will please even the most discriminating of dessert eaters thanks to their high-quality pastry dough filled with delectable cream. The nice thing about a thaw-and-eat dessert like Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs is that you can adjust just how thick and resistant you want the cream in the pastry to be.
Serve chilled if you want the cream inside to be cold and have some bite, let the cream puffs thaw longer if you want a room-temperature dessert with whipped-cream soft filling.
Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs suggests you leave out the cream puffs for 30 minutes before serving.
Another nice feature about Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs is the container in which the dessert comes. It's a hard plastic box with a tightly sealing lid. This allows for easy and thorough closure of the carton, ensuring the freshness and quality taste of any Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs you decide not to use until later.
I like serving Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs as a light dessert item to be served alongside other dessert items and finger foods as part of a buffet such as for a party or special occasion. However, these Belgian mini cream puffs are fine desserts on their own after any meal.
Now, I don't make much of a habit of eating Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs too often. Not because they aren't delicious - they are among the most delectable frozen desserts I have had the pleasure of trying. But they are rich. Very rich. Check out these numbers from the food label; these nutrition facts are for a serving size of 6 mini cream puffs:
270 calories
200 calories from fat
22 grams of total fat
14 grams of saturated fat
115 milligrams (mg) of cholesterol
13 grams of carbohydrates
7 grams of sugar
There are, however no trans fats and only 55 grams of sodium. Interestingly, Delizza Belgian Mini Cream Puffs also provides 15% of your daily recommended intake of Vitamin A. Not bad, right?
Delizza Patisserie offers a full line of dessert pastries that make wonderful additions to any meal, buffet, or party spread. Be sure to check out Delizza patisserie products in your local grocer's frozen section. Delizza Belgiain Mini Cream Puffs cost $4.99 for a 13.2-ounce carton of 30 cream puffs at a Central Florida Sweetbay Supermarket in December 2009.

Post a Commenty box of cream puffs were encased in ice and defrosted mushy and there is an incorrect phone number printed on every box Suspicious I am furious
While they are delicious, I do not serve them to guests for one reason. If they thaw completely before you bite into them, you may suddenly have a glob of filling in your lap. I wish I knew what that filling is. Whipped air, perhaps?
I've had these, and since I don't talk about my love affairs, that's all I'll say.
I have salivated over these in the freezer section.
They are definitely delicious!
