The IPOD is considered one of the best MP3 players for the consumer. With so many features such as downloading and listening to music, and videos, Apple was able to put a heft price tag on the IPOD. I guess with the many features on an IPOD, it's only fair to charge the consumers close to $400. However, Dell came out with an MP3 that store the same amount of storage for half the price of an IPOD. The Dell DJ MP3 player is a great straight-forward device that stores and plays all of your favorite songs and artist for less money.
Since purchasing the Dell DJ MP3 player, I never go anywhere without it. Whether I am in my car, reading a book, or just taking a walk, I always have a pair of headphones on and listening to my Dell DJ. There are different levels of the Dell DJ based on storage. There is the Dell DJ 15, Dell DJ 20, and the Dell DJ 30. Each number represents the amount of GB that the MP3 player can hold. I purchased the Dell DJ 30, which can hold 15,000 songs as well as information data. For the individual who wants an MP3 player that plays just music for a reasonable price, the Dell DJ is the best choice for you.
The Dell DJ comes with all of the necessities that you need to enjoy your MP3 player. The Dell DJ comes with earphones, an adapter and a USP port to plug into your computer for downloading options. The Dell DJ is compatible with Napster. If you are a Napster subscriber, you can download any song into your Dell DJ. A regular Napster membership ($9.99 monthly) will allow you to purchase any song at a cost of .99 then download it into your MP3 player. Napster also has a subscription service called Napster-To-Go ($14.99 monthly) that allows you to download music to your Dell DJ free of charge. However, when your Napster subscription is cancelled, the song that you downloaded will not play in your Dell DJ. If you do not want to deal with Napster or any other Online downloading program, you can just download your favorite CD into the computer and then to your Dell DJ. My entire CD collection is currently in my MP3 player. There is no reason why anyone should still be carrying an overstuffed CD case that full of scratched up CDs.
For the simple people that want the simple things in life, the Dell DJ is the perfect MP3 player for you. The Dell DJ is not sold in stores. You can go to http://dell.com and shop online. The Dell DJ with 30GB of memory cost me $200 compared to $400 that Apple charges for the IPOD. Durability is not an issue, because I must've dropped my Dell DJ a hundred times and it still works the same it did when it was brand new. The Dell DJ is a great MP3 player that will allow you to enjoy all of your favorite songs for a very long time.
