Review: Dentemp O.S. One Step

Repairs Lost Fillings and Loose Caps

Ray J. Johnson
Have no dental insurance policy or have a long wait until you can get in to see your regular dentist due to a lost filling or have a loose cap? Then Dentemp O.S. One Step could be your solution.

In my case, I am fortuitous enough to have an dental insurance policy, but unfortunate in regards to getting an expeditious pit-stop repair appointment visit with my Dentist, Carla Skates. She is a very busy dentist, with a great practice, but her success comes to my chagrin due to a lost filling as a result of having bitten to hard into a piece of candy. Sorry Dr. Skates, I do indeed have a sweet-tooth.

A couple months ago, somehow a pop-up banner ad for Majestic Need Met.Com somehow snuck-thru, what I thought was my iron-clad pop-banner protector. For some aberrant reason I was compelled to click-thru and read-on about what Majestic Need Met.Com had to offer. Maybe this was an unseen omen. Indeed it was.

I inspected my Internet browsing history and discovered the offending, yet blessing found in disguise, web-site for Majestic Need Met.Com. What Majestic Need Met.Com offers is a wide assemblage of dental health and repair needs.

In regards to dental health and prevention they offer; Sword Floss, Proxi-Plus, Dentool, Dentool Jr, D.O.C.Denture Wipes and Dentemp's Oral Pain Relief Swabs.

As far as the dental repair products Majestic Need Met.Com offer are; Refilit, Recapit, D.O.C. Denture Repair Kit. Dentemp Custom and my coveted and sought-out product; Dentemp O.S. for loose caps, loose crowns and most importantly, my missing filling.

The product is recommended by Dentists, is clinically proven and provides instant pain relief. I cannot say of how affective it is in the pain relief department due to the fact I advantageously had none to speak of, albeit what it did cite, is everything the label touted as being liable to perform.

The directions recommended that I wash my hands, which I did so, only after giving my teeth a plenary brushing, then an antiseptic rinsing with mouth-wash and then I took it a step further by using a hydrogen peroxide mix of one part peroxide and five parts tap-water as an extra antiseptic measure.

It also advises as to not drying your tooth, and to leave it moist, most likely due to some active ingredient within the products formula. It then cites to use the small included applicator and render a small amount of said product from the container and roll between your fingers, forming a small ball and then to press firmly into the tooth's void. There after, you should then bite down several times as to insure proper bite and alignment of jaw. Then you are to allow at least a hour to set before you are able to eat on it.

After following the above mentioned directions I was able to do so with no adverse affects and was indeed able to chew food without no problems. I found this product at Walgreen's for a retail price of $4.99 and claims your able to render 8+ repairs from its containers contents.

I highly recommend this product if you're in a pinch, and unable to get in for an emergency repair appointment with your Dentist. This product can also be found at: Albertsons, C's Discount, Certco, CVS, Dik Drug, Discount Drug Mart, Drug Emporium, Duane Reade, Grocers Supply, Harris Teeter, Jewett Drug, Kinney Drug, Kroger, Long's Drug Stores, Majoria Drug, Marsh Supermarkets, Meijer Drug, Morris Dickson, Navarro Discount, Pathmark, Price Chopper, Ray Drug, Rite Aid, Smith Drug, Snyder's Drug Stores, Supervalu, TDL Sales, Wakefern-ShopRite, Walgreens and Wegman's.
