Prices:
Pretty darn expensive, at least $30 an entree. The cheapest entree is the Roasted Jump Prawn Paella, at $29. First courses start at $12.

Service:
First, let me say, that if you are looking to dine here on a weekend, please get a reservation! This place is packed full during the weekends. The service is really good, the wait staff is very friendly, attentive and quite eager to help. Drink refills are made very promptly, and you almost never even have to ask for them. If you tell the wait staff that you need more time to order, they come back soon instead of just forgetting about you like at some restaurants.

Food & Menu:

Expensive as it is, the food is very exquisite. The main courses are all very eloquent and unique, with their meats varying from ostrich to duck, lamb to veal, and prawn to monk fish.

Every entree is paired with the perfect match in veggies and starches, and all the veggies and starches are paired with the perfect match in spices and herbs. Every dish is created with care and good taste, and presented beautifully.

I have never tasted fish prepared so deliciously and so carefully. The food here is divine!

Specialties and My Favorites:
One of the most popular specialties here at Mizuna is the Rabbit en Croute. And rightly so. Delicately braised rabbit, oven roasted tomato, potatoes parisienne and spring onion give this dish a back-home taste with an upscale kick. This is by far one of their best dishes, but not quite my favorite.

The Cervena Ostrich Loin is ultimately mouth-watering. I'd never tried ostrich until I ventured into Mizuna, and they cook it the right way. Ostrich steaks accompanied with potato perogi, apple-bacon slaw that leaves you begging for more, caramelized onion and appenzeller fondue. This is a must-try for anyone who walks into Mizuna.

But my favorite dish to order at this place has to be the Alaskan Halibut. It comes with Crab-stuffed squash blossom! My insane love for all things crab and some good old' squash come into play, and this is almost my favorite part of the dish. Also accompanied by sauce choron and heirloom tomato, I don't think they could make this dish any better.

I give Mizuna 5 stars, this place is amazing. The only downfall is the price, be ready for it.
