So what is the deal with this Dermesse Vitamin C Serum? Well as you already noticed this formula is based on Vitamin C. Their claim is that Vitamin C will reduce wrinkles, promote moisture retention and improve your skins elasticity.
This product is recommended for daily use, so I guess it's a product that is not powerful enough to irritate your skin if you use it on a daily basis. Vitamin C is an antioxidant. All antioxidants perform best if you take it as a pill or a juice of some sort. However, when you use an antioxidant on your skin it just does not have that same effect topically. It seems to just loose its fervency if used outside the body. Since Vitamin C can be kind of acidic it might be an irritant to some people.
Well, that is really all I know about the ingredients present in this product. The company did not do a good job of listing what their other ingredients are. I mean we all know that there is no way the product can just contain only Vitamin C.
The positives of this product are that it is competitively priced; it's not priced at some ridiculous price. We know that it contains Vitamin C and is easy to order online. I also think there are some other antioxidants present, but I don't really have enough information on that to really go much deeper in to that.
The negatives are that there is no refund policy! I love it when companies have money back guarantees; it shows that they are confident in their product. If a company does not have some kind of return policy or money back guaranteed it makes me think they are not confident in their product and that they are just trying to make a buck! The last two negatives are that they don't contain Matrixyl 3000 or Argireline which promotes collagen production.
If you deiced to buy Dermesse Vitamin C Serum you might be taking a little bit of a risk, because I just don't know what the other ingredients are and they respond when they are applied to the skin. Also, you never know what other ingredients might be an irritant to your skin.

Post a CommentI am responding to the Dermesse Vitamin C Serum article on this site. I am currently using the product and thought I could add some additional information concerning this product and the company. Contrary to this article, the only claims made by the company, which by the way is Axia Medical Solutions, were claims often associated with topical vitamin C. As we all know, Vitamin C is touted as an antioxidant, collagen and elastin production stimulator, and hydrator. The company does offer the product in two strengths, 5% and 10%. I use the 10% serum and I find that it is not irritating to my skin. I called the company and inquired as to the use of the 5% and they said that it is used in sensitive areas such as the eyes. The prior article also mentioned that all ingredients were not listed. The bottle and box that I received both list all ingredients. Again, when I asked the company they stated that, as an FDA regulated facility, they had to list all ingredients and are committed to using

I will continue to research new and novel skin care products and ingredients and hopefully will be reporting my finding in future articles.

only selling through physician's offices (good or bad). The company is a global pharmaceutical company and has a strict policy against selling on the internet or through retail outlets. I did try to find some advertising or marketing materials on the Dermesse products but was informed that they are only in medical professional journals or magazines specific to the medical industry. The company did confirm that they only sell through physicians. As I stated, I purchase my product through my dermatologist which gives me a comfort level knowing that this is a product recommend by a doctor.
As for a refund policy, absolutely. My doctor told me the company honors all refunds or exchanges even on their Dermesse prescription strength skin care products.
I must say I am very satisfied with the product and the results that I am seeing. I do agree with the prior article that it would be nice if other ingredients were present. I would rather put on one product than

as an FDA regulated facility, they had to list all ingredients and are committed to using the highest grade of ingredients. The main ingredient is L-Ascorbic acid which is the biological active conformation of vitamin C. The Vitamin C is stabilized and this is obvious by the clearness of the product. It is as clear as water and comes in an amber bottle to protect the vitamin C. I have heard that if any vitamin C solution starts to turn yellow, it is being oxidized which is not good. The company admitted that it did not include other ingredients like Argeriline and Matrixyl in the vitamin C serum but that they do have other moisturizing and sun protection products that do include hexapeptides and pentapeptides.
In agreement with the prior article I find their vitamin C is very competitively priced. However, it is not available online. I was introduced to the product by my dermatologist and he informed me that the company has a policy of only selling through p

Well, it appears that you have ticked off the company! Well done! Your points are valid and on target. It doesn't matter if the ingredients are listed on the label- they need to be listed on the company website so that consumers can make informed decisions prior to purchase. ESPECIALLY when there is no money back guarantee. :)
I would adivise you that in the future that it would be to your best interest to educate your self and buy and use each product that is reviewed by you before you post your reviews. I find that Dermesse Products are good, reliable, and produce results this product is only available through dermatologist and physicians. Another questions if it had no effect why would this product be recomended and dispensed by a doctor.
Continued from first comment. Any company can offer money back but how many people actually redeem their guarantees? I know I have only done it once or twice in my life time. Its hard to place a quarantee on skin since everyone's is different and reacts differently. They are selling a product to to help minimize damaging effects of the environment. Matrixyl and Argireline have no place in this product. Did you know that products that contain these two ingredients only have trace amounts and not a large enough dose to even be effective because the product is so expensive. They are "BUZZ" words created to draw people in to buy product. You would think that you would know that being a product reviewer of sorts. I am much more comfortable with a simplistic product that is straight forward and does not contain any un-neccesary ingredients or hype in contains what it takes to get the job done.
I would like to make a couple comments in regards to the "Dermesse Vitamin C Serum" Review posted by Alia Jae.
1. There is no claim either on the box, label, or website that says it "Will" reduce wrinkles, ect, ect. What is does say is that it was designed to minimize the damaging effects again "Minimize"
2. Any type of skin care product can irritate ones skin it depends on each and every individuals skin type and from what I read on their website they provide 2 different strengths.
3. The company does have their ingredients listed on the Box, and the Label, it is law that all ingredients must be listed on product. Your comments leads me to believe that you did not buy or use the product. The product contains 6 ingredients Vitamin C being the third so the product is basically Vitamin C with ingredients as the base and for emulsifying the product to make it bind and deliver product to the skin and ingredients for a pleasent smell.
I will continue my comment with a 2nd post
