http://www.royalbrestaurants.blogspot.com
The menu at the Royal B fine dining restaurant in destin Florida makes you feel like you are in New Orleans. The atmosphere sets the stage as you enter the classic décor of old New Orleans. The staff is friendly and welcomes you as though you are an old friend.
The menu features Appetizers such as Shrimp Remoulade, Crawfish Beignets, and Oysters Rockefeller.
Outstanding Creole Gumbo and Turtle Soup and Crawfish and Crab Bisque are offered as potages or soup to the uninitiated. The turtle soup is a New Orleans classic and you understand why these owners and their staff hail from New Orleans. All the soups are well seasoned with all the flavor you would expect in the French Quarter or on old canal street. You might expect to walk out and see the Mississippi river rather than the blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The owners Clark and Blake Brennan want you to imagine yourself in New Orleans because that is the only way they know how to please their customers.
The salads include the Heirloom Tomato and Lump Crabmeat Salad and the Jackson Square Salad which is another New Orleans tradition. The lump crabmeat is pure white and sweet and fresh.
The main entrees include fresh fish dishes, veal, chicken, and steak dishes all expertly prepared by the fine New Orleans chefs that staff the kitchen at this destin restaurant.
You need to save some room for the outstanding classic desserts which include Bananas foster expertly prepared at your table and Crepes Fitzgerald which is also flambéed tableside.
The coffee is classic New Orleans chicory laced coffee expertly brewed and full of flavor.
The whole experience is one which will leave you anticipating your next visit to this fine dining restaurant in Destin, Florida.
