Review of Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream

Information and Unorthodox Use for the Product

I use Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream in a different way. After two decades of swimming in a chlorinated pool, my feet and hands are extremely sensitive, chapped very easily, and simply old looking. Once I start seeing the chapping coming on, I grab a dollop of hand cream and start rubbing it in. I do it twice a day - once in the morning, once at night. Within 48 hours the chapping begins to go away. It works really, really well for me.

If you want more information about Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream, you can go to www.dove.com. Not only will you be able to get more information, you might also get lucky and grab a printable coupon or free sample from Dove's site. What Dove's site does not do is tell you where you can purchase their products. So an Internet search is in order.

One of the more popular places Amazon.com. They also have consumer reviews and good prices. You can also find out more regarding the technical nature of the product on Amazon's site. According to Amazon's site, you need to be careful when you go out in the sun when using the product as it contains a chemical which makes the skin more sensitive to sunlight. Even though the product is rated with SPF 5, this is not enough to prevent sunburn and it is recommended that you wear sun screen and protective clothing for up to a week after using the product. wo

The product on Amazon.com currently has two reviews -- one pro and one con. I personally do not find the scent offensive, it is pretty mild (I am a man too, so I might be less sensitive to the smell). I did some internet research and did not find this to be a common complaint.. The lotion is not too thick or thin in my opinion. I do not use a lot at any given time; just a little goes a long way and this is a result of it not being too thick.

If ordering from the Internet is not your thing, you can also find Dove Pro-Age Hand Cream at your local CVS pharmacy or Walgreens brick and mortar stores. While both Target and Walmart carry the Pro-Age line, neither appear to carry this product, so it looks like you will need to focus on a specialized drug store chain in order to find it.
