With the Dremel 750-02 Minimite Cordless Rotary Tool, you can have the power and performance of a Dremel in a smaller, un-corded form factor. It operates off of battery power which enables you to get your special project done anywhere.
The Dremel 750-02 Minimite Cordless Rotary Tool gives the user an option of grinding or cutting at two different speed levels. This is where my only gripe about this product comes in; one of the best attributes of the conventional Dremel tools available is the ability to vary the motors speed in order to produce better results from its use.
Besides my qualm with the lack of variable speed, the tool works incredibly well for small projects. There may be times where using the A/C powered "big brother" version is not an option such as a spot repair while you are on the road or too far from the reach of an extension cord.
Even though this mighty multi-tool only uses 4.8 volts of power from the supplied internal batter pack, the Dremel 750-02 Minimite Cordless Rotary Tool packs quite a punch in order to cut through stubborn material such as dense hardwoods or plastic. You also receive cutting, polishing and sanding accessories with the package and the rotary tool works with all other standard Dremel attachments commonly available.
You can expect the same quality as you would from any other Dremel product and this multi-tool comes backed with a solid 5 year warranty. The uses for this little innovative tool are far reaching; some users of this product say that it is an effective tool for cutting and smoothing their pet's claws!
Ever since buying this product, I find myself using it more so than the old trusty original Dremel rotary tool I bought years ago. The convenience factor of the Dremel 750-02 Minimite Cordless Rotary Tool makes it a very appealing alternative to more expensive multi-tools and I am happy to report that It has worked flawlessly so far.
I highly recommend the Dremel 750-02 Minimite Cordless Rotary Tool as a stocking stuffer or birthday present for the do it yourself crowd and Dremel makes it easier by selling the tool at a very reasonable price.
