Review of the Durabrand 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System
Small and Affordable Home Theater Speaker System that Sounds Better Than Expected
The Durabrand 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System boasts an 80 Watt total power rating but sounds much louder. Even though the Durabrand 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System isn't Dolby Digital certified, the channel separation quality between the two is negligible in my opinion. From regular TV programming to game play, the system is more than adequate for the money spent.
Some cheaper and comparable systems are "hard wired" to the supplied speakers; making it impossible to change the high range speakers for a higher quality set. With the Durabrand 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System you can easily switch your factory supplied speakers for better ones you may have lying around. The Durabrand 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System also comes with a remote for independent control of the center, front, rear and subwoofer levels. This adjustability is a big plus when setting up and tuning for the best possible sound for your particular room size and speaker layout.
Speaker placement is one of the most important factors in getting the best out of your home theater. This is especially important for The Durabrand 5.1 Home Theater Speaker System. Because of its low 80 Watt power rating, mounting your speakers in the correct ways will make the system appear to be louder than it actually is.
Although it is not a high end home theater system, for less than $40 dollars at Wal-Mart, you can't beat the value if you are just starting out or want a secondary audio system in a bedroom or basement.
