Review: Elmers Glue All

Johanna Swith
What household doesn't need a great glue? I use Elmer's traditional white glue for a variety of crafts and projects but when I needed to repair the interior of my refrigerator door I knew the old standard glue was not going to do the trick. I found Elmer's glue all at Wal-Mart for around four dollars a bottle. I had heard that Elmer's Glue All was similar to gorilla glue without all of the hassle so I thought I would try it out.

When compared to Elmer's white glue this newer addition to the Elmer's line of glue the only difference is the price really. Elmer's white glue is great for gluing just about any simple craft or school project, it is affordable, reliable and generally a great glue product. Elmer's Glue All costs about four times as much as the standard old white glue and offers about the same quality of a gluing experience. The only difference asides from price is the color of the glue and bottle it comes in.

I do a lot of crafts and I believe it is always better to try to repair what I have instead of tossing it out and replacing it. I have tried Elmer's Glue All for a variety of products and I have not been impressed or pleased with the results it provides. I feel like I have better results from the traditional old white school and craft glue at a fraction of the cost. I have tried using Elmer's glue all for plastic, it didn't bond well. For paper crafts, forget Elmer's Glue All! The most simple of projects are not ideal for this glue product.

I will never purchase Elmer's Glue All again, I also would not recommend it to anyone because it simply is not a quality product. If you want my advice and opinion, save your money and avoid this glue product, for a fraction of the cost you can buy either a super glue or a white craft glue and achieve much more impressive results than you will get from the new addition to the line of Elmer's glue.

I had to use super glue to repair the refrigerator door, Elmer's Glue all would not bond and hold a flimsy piece of plastic! That says to me that this glue wouldn't hold much of anything together! I hope this product review helps you make an informed decision about buying glue, and saves you some cash too!

No your review didn't tell me what you used the Glue All for..therefore it did me no good. I want to use it for decoupage and I was looking for better insight.
