Review of Elysee Hotel in New York City

This is the kind of hotel that you can take your kids too. If you have little kids or teenagers you will be right at home here. The Elysee Hotel in New York City is also great for seniors and retirees. This is probably not the best option for honeymooners. The great thing about staying here is that you will be able to stay here for under $300.00 a night and that is rare for a hotel in New York City.

The rooms are quite spacious and that is why this hotel is suitable for families with little kids and teenagers.

One thing that you will notice upon arriving to whatever room you reserved is the cleanliness of it! The cleanliness is very apparent! You know sometimes when you go to other hotels it is just clean on the surface, but it still has that musty smell? Well, here the housekeeping is not about surface cleaning they are about doing a deep cleansing so that the rooms are nice and clean.

When you arrive with your family and realize that maybe your room is not big as you would like it or need to be you can always ask for an upgrade. You can upgrade your room all the way to a self contained apartment. These cost a bit more, but it is not that big of a deal. This will give you more of an at home feeling with much more space for you and your kids.

The staff is such a blessing. They do the sweetest little things to bless their guests. If for some reason you or a family member gets sick they will be you and your family free food and drinks. They are there for you if you need anything at all.

The location is great because you will be near the Empire State Building and Time Square. Of course there are plenty of shops and places to eat at walking distance. I am not really sure how the food is on site; sorry I can't really give you any feedback on the food. When you go to New York you don't go there to eat the hotels food! You go there to eat good ole New York food!

The only semi negative thing I can say about staying here is the fact that depending on which room you stay at you will not get that great of a view. If that is something important to you, you can always ask when you make your reservations for a room with a view.
