The outside of Ember's Restaurant was simple yet classy with dolphin statues and an attractive fountain welcoming you inside. Upon entering Ember's Restaurant the wait staff was very helpful and friendly. The seating area was large; however the tables seemed to be quite close together. It almost appeared that the seating arrangements catered to fit more guests rather than accommodate for comfort while dining.
The buffet cost was $30 per person and completely loaded with seafood. Crab soups, crab imperial, clams, fried shrimp, oysters, tuna, steaks, pastas, turkey, port, a large variety of vegetables, salad and desserts called to you from every buffet table. All of the food was good, but I wasn't convinced that it was amazing and worth $30. Some of the pasta noodles were over cooked and not all of the hot foods were hot, but a mere lukewarm temperature. The desserts were very limited and simple, which was a little offsetting compared to the main entrée selection.
As we were seated, the waiter was very nice and supplied us with a bowl for the seafood shell scraps and a set of seafood crackers. During the meal our waiter was very efficient with keeping our table clean. The staff tending to the buffet also did a wonderful job with keeping everything filled and clean.
One of the things that I liked the best about Ember's Restaurant is that I did not feel rushed like you sometimes feel at buffets where the wait staff feels very pushy to just get guests in and out. A little tip, there is coupons available in local visitor's guides, however they do not apply on certain days that they are running buffet discounts already. All and all the dining experience at Ember's Restaurant was very satisfactory and I would recommend it.
