This is what greets you when you open the Entrecard URL.
Entrecard Is a blogging community that is composed of more than 15,000 blogs all over the blogosphere; and this is still increasing day by day.
It is absolutely free to join! Just register and you will be given instructions on how to prepare and install your entrecard widget (measuring 125 X 125) into your blog.
Members are given the option to select pictures from their computer and resize it to serve as their entre card widget.
After you have designed your Entrecard widget it must be placed at the upper 1/3 fold of your blog for easy accessibility.
The concept is for members to visit each others' blogs and then drop their Entrecard on other members' Enctrecard. This will earn credits for them. These credits then, can be used to purchase ads, purchase services or be given as prizes for winners of blog contests within the Entrecard community.
There are thousands of interesting blog members on various topics like personal diaries, mixed bag, romance, business , philosophy, writing (which is my favorite) and many more.
Graham Langdon, the administrator, has the sincere and intense desire to help entrecarders increase traffic and blog readership. He has teamed up with SezWho to encourage members to read and comment on blogs and not just to drop their cards and go. The use of Yahoo Buzz up and Digg was also recommended.
I would like to mention my personal experience with this website as my review wouldn't be complete if I don't reveal what Entrecard has done for me.
Mine was a "lonely" blog before I joined Entrecard. I got probably 5-10 hits per day. But when I joined Entrecard, my traffic increased by leaps and bounds.
My traffic did not increase without me doing nothing, of course. I started dropping 20-50 cards per day. I read posts and left comments on topics I found interesting. Members are very supportive and generous. I found friends who are willing to help me in anyway they can.
Utilizing all the available Entrecard services will definitely increase tremendously your traffic. Aside from that benefit, I have visited wonderful and amazing blogs I would have never known without Entrecard.
Presently, I try to reach the maximum drops per day (which is 300 drops/blog), but I don't make it as my sole target. I usually stop and comment on articles I find worth reading. It is much more rewarding to learn something new and interact with people all around the globe.
I rate this site 4.5/5 - an almost perfect score, because I was able to achieve the positive expectations I had when I first joined in.
Without Entrecard.com, my blogging experience would never have been a dynamic one.
