I decided to look for Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies after reading a review of another item in the Little Bites product line. Seeing that brownies were available, I had to try them.
Each box of Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies contains five 48g pouches, with three miniature brownies per pouch. A box costs $4.49 at my local store, which is rather expensive. In spite of this, we liked them enough to buy a second box.
These small, moist brownies contain real chocolate in the form of semisweet chocolate and cocoa, and it shows; they are very fudgy. I found that I can eat one at a time with about 8 ounces of water. This helps me drink more water, which I definitely need to do. It also helps fill me up; after having one small brownie with water, I really don't need a second one until later. This helps spread the calories throughout the day.
If you're not terribly worried about calories but want the box to last longer, there are several ways to make one of these miniature brownies more satisfying. I like to spread a thin layer of peanut butter on top. Another idea is to add a dollop of chocolate icing; top it with pecan or walnut pieces if desired. You can also dust it with powdered sugar. Try drizzling some caramel or butterscotch topping on the brownie, or even a bit of strawberry jam. You can do anything with these that you can do with a larger brownie, and the small size means the total calorie count will be lower.
A one-serving pouch contains 210 calories, with 100 being from fat. The total fat content is 11g, with 3g saturated fat, 4.5g polyunsaturated fat, and 3g monounsaturated fat. There is no trans fat or high-fructose corn syrup. These brownies are sweetened with sugar, glucose, and fructose. Those with food allergies or sensitivities should be aware that this product contains wheat, dairy, and soy.
Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies are a delicious snack. One easy-open pouch can also be added to a lunch bag as a tasty dessert.
