of the very few ebooks that has been written on autism. I am talking about the ebook The Essential
Guide To Autism.
The author of this ebook, Rachel Evans, has done a thorough research on autism, infact she says that
when she first wanted to find out about autism, she could not find any books that were really useful.
They were either geared towards the medical field or they were poorly written with out of date
information. So this author decided to do her own research so, she spent many hours in research to
find out what was being offered for the best techniques to diagnose and manage Autism.
Here is some information from her research:
What an autism diagnosis really means
How to understand and assess the various treatment options
What your child's rights are in the school system
How to cope with common marital and family related stress
How to ensure the safety of your autistic child
How to use diet and nutrition to help control autism naturally
Can Adults With Autism Live Independent Lives?
These a just a few topics that she addresses in her ebook, there are so many topics on autism that she
touches on that I cannot list them all. But she answers questions for anything from "Can Autism Be
Outgrown?" to "Are There Disorders That Accompany Autism?" to "What Hope Does Research
Offer for Autism?"
Two topics that I found to be very helpful for my own situation was the information Rachel Evans
collected on "How to deal with an autistic adolescent" and "How to plan for your autistic child's
transition to adulthood". These are two important issues that I am dealing with right now in my life
because my 2 boys are 16 years old and 19 years old.
I thought this was a very comprehensive, but easy to understand ebook on autism. I think that this
ebook would be valuable to any parent, care giver or teacher that wants to gain a better understanding
of autism.
