This one is called Estee Lauder, Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup, for Face and Body it also contains SPF 15.
When I first bought the tube for $32.00 I knew it was quite a splurge, but I also knew that if I hated it I could simply swap it out for my original favorite. Being semi tan, I went with their deepest shade, as recommended; Deep.
Deep is for those with darker skin tones like olive or golden bronze. The bothersome thing about this meticulous concealer is that Estee Lauder did not include colors for our beautiful women of color, which stinks, because this concealer is truly amazing, and I feel women of every color would find this on to be perfect, so hello, Estee if you hear me, could you please get busy and work on some shades for our beautiful women of color!?
Anyhow, I was told by the sales rep that a little goes a long way, and to not let the small size of the tube to deter me from purchasing it. She then showed me exactly what she meant by placing a pea sized dab on my hand, and rubbing it in. I was shocked out how slick and far and wide this concealer spread. I was also shocked with how flawless, and natural it made the skin on my hand look.
I was sold, and I went home immediately to try out my newest find.
I first rinsed my face completely of any makeup, dirt and oil. I then applied my usual moisturizer. If you add a moisturizer before adding any foundation, you will find that your skin will not be as oily or get as oily. Even those with extremely oily skin should make a note of that. Your skin gets oily due to it lacking moisture, so if you provide it moisture it will be less likely to bleed oil.
Anyhow, after applying my moisturizer I went to work. I used an ever so small drop of Estee Lauder, Double Wear, Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup, for Face and Body and was amazed that just a drop of it covered an entire half of my face.
The foundation has a slick texture that allows it to slide, and glide quickly and effortlessly into place, I was amazed at how natural it felt once it began to dry, but mostly I was amazed at how superbly it covered every flaw, from discolorations due to a recent acne pimple, and small freckles. Everything was concealed, perfectly, flawlessly, as if I had been professionally airbrushed.
The concealer has a slight odd smell to it at first which is not very appealing, thankfully the scent fades away as fast as it dries on your skin.
I learned to work with Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup, for Face and Body in sections, by using a small drop on one side of my face, and a small drop on the other, and then using an ever so slight dollop of the concealer on my forehead, and then my neck to keep everything looking flawlessly airbrushed and even.
The end result will impress you enough to leave you a lifelong fan, and I have already returned for a second tube of it even though I know it will last me for months due to how little of the product you need to use for it to supply you with full maximum coverage.
What I love about this cover up is that it not only works charms on my facial skin, but it also comes in handy for when I want to wear shorts. I used a small drop of it to cover a nasty varicose vein I have on my calf, and it covered it up and blended in with the rest of my skin so well, that you could not even tell it (the varicose vein), or the cover up was present on my leg.
Last:
My original Double Wear foundation lasted all day and into the night. Estee Lauder, Double Wear, Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup, for Face and Body SPF 15, will last just as long. It comes off when you decide you want it off and use a makeup removal pad, or your choice of makeup cleanser.
Overall:
If you are looking for flawless finish for your face, or looking to hide a flaw on your body with perfection and ease, seriously you have got to give this one a try. I think once you try this one, you will look no further for your makeup needs than Estee Lauder's Double Wear collection.
