Review of the Exciting Mongol Movie

Cэвбо
Set in 1192 Mongolia, the Mongol movie is a movie adaptation of the legendary Mongolian leader Temujin. He is also known as Genghis Khan, the greatest & the first real Mongolian leader in the world. His father is poisoned by one of the rival Mongolian tribes during a tribal visit. There is a little bit of ancient Mongolian funeral ritual shown in the Mongol movie, resembling some Red Indian wear & head gear used before the introduction of Islam in Mongolia. The beginning of the movie was somber, describing the life of Mongolian nomadic peasants. After his father's death, his life turned into nothing more than slavery & he was forced to wear a wooden board on his shoulders.

Knowing that some members of his tribe would cut his head off as soon as it reached the height of the carriage wheel, Temujin ran way from the village to lead his own life in solitude. After years of living & surviving on the plains alone & into adulthood, Temujin returned to the village to marry his teenage lover in the Mongol movie. Unfortunately, his lover had been kidnapped by another Mongolian clan that lived in tepees very similar to those of the Red Indians of the Americas. He himself almost died from the incident. Rather reluctantly & without choice, Temujin's lover surrendered herself to her captors in order for him to escape alive. Upon healing from his wounds, Temujin joins another Mongolian clan to do battle with the people who took away his lover.

After successfully beating the clan in a swift surprise attack, Temujin finds his lover pregnant with another man's child in the Mongol movie. He still loves her & knew that it was not her fault. He takes her home & they live together. The movie captures the sadness felt by the warriors & family in the moment before a battle. Lovers kiss, & family embraces then women & children who cannot fight move forward as their nomadic culture would lead them. He battles with his former ally, until only he stands against them. He fights them & the film expresses with Temujin's shady eye sight that he is exhausted. Temujin is sold as a slave & placed as a sort of tourist attraction in the center of a small town near China.

For the second instance in the Mongol movie, he stays at the temple to pray with the sacred wolf. After being rescued by his lover who bribed a guard for his release, Temujin charismatically returns as a clan leader & battles with a rival Khan of the Mongols, winning an astounding victory. The victory of Temujin's army in the particular battle against the rival Khan is thanks largely, to the insane courage of his elite black horsemen battalion. The question of his ruthlessness as Genghis Khan arises. Was Temujin murdering his own elite black horsemen riders?

Obviously, friendly fire was not the case in the Mongol movie. Temujin could have ordered the archers to not shoot at his riders or have them ride away from the archer's line of fire. You decide about the final battle scene. The other Khan is defeated & acknowledges Temujin as the true great leader of the Mongols. The tents of his great horde light up a vast distance at night marking the beginning of the Golden Horde Empire. The Mongol Movie is an exciting & entertaining interpretation of history about the great Genghis Khan!
