The Expert Gardener plant food contains a deep feeding wetting agent. This helps plant nutrients and water penetrate deeply into the soil and into the root zone to give you plants a better feeding than most granular plant foods.
The Expert Gardener All Purpose Plant Food are green granules that are water soluble and can be used in watering cans or with an end hose feeder. The box says that two cups of mix with the use of a hose end feeder will feed three hundred feet or approximately a 10 foot by 30 foot lawn. There are more specific instructions when watering plants using a watering can. For instance, general houseplants require one teaspoon per gallon of water and roses require one tablespoon per plant. However, the box states that using a slightly stronger or weaker solution will not harm the plants.
The Expert Gardener has a combination of 24% Nitrogen, 8% Phosphate, 16% Potash. The box of the Expert Gardener says that it feeds two times longer than the previous formula. I believe this is comparable to Miracle-Gro All Purpose Plant Food. Expert Gardener is a plant food that can be used on almost everything from grass, trees and shrubs, to vegetables and roses without worry.
After using Expert Gardener on my houseplants, I noticed that the plants started to grow out and look greener. The ivy leaves began to get a nice shine also. My houseplants are doing wonderfully since being on a monthly feeding schedule. My husband fed our garden vegetable plants in the spring and we had a bountiful result.
I would recommend this product to anyone that cares about the health of their houseplants, roses or garden vegetables but doesn't want to spend more than they have too.
Expert Gardener All Purpose Plant Food comes in a box weighing one and one-half pounds. The Expert Gardener is marketed by and only available at Walmart stores in the garden section. The Expert Gardener All Purpose Plant Food is proudly made in the USA.

Post a CommentI agree with the writer, I have found EXPERT GARDENER superior to Miracle Gro. I believe its because of the higher nitrogen content, not sure but my outdoor plants seem to respond to it faster than MG. You get less EG than what MG offers for less money but EG seems worth it.
