The Application Process
All students that submit their application and their $200.00 deposit will be sent your housing confirmation by July. If a student wishes to have certain assignments for roommates of dorms then this should be placed on the application form for housing. If certain roommates are desired those students must submit their applications simultaneously in order to be able to get that room assignment. While all preferences are honored all of them are not always possible so these applications should be submitted as soon as possible.
Housing Options
If a student has been enrolled for a year or more and they have a G.P.A. of 2.25 or higher at Fairmont State University then they may apply to be an R.A. and receive free housing in exchange for their leadership abilities. This process is simple requires an application and interview. If the student is accepted as an R.A. then have an option to gain leadership experience which can prove valuable to their future career.
