As a plus, there is an one hundred percent satisfaction guarantee and that did relieve a little bit of my concern about the quality possibly not being high level. The package says if you are not satisfied, simply return the empty package to any Family Dollar store within thirty days with a receipt for a refund or exchange.
The Family Gourmet Apple Juice is one hundred percent apple juice and not simply a juice drink. However, it is made from apple juice concentrate and is not pure fresh pressed apple juice. Family Gourmet Apple Juice is unsweetened and has Vitamin C added.
The taste of Family Gourmet Apple Juice is actually pretty good. I do think the taste is slightly under par of Mott's Apple Juice but it is a good quality product. Where a higher priced apple juice like Mott's has a stronger apple flavor, the flavor of this product is milder and possibly a little watery tasting. Still, many people prefer a mild tasting juice without a tang.
Personally I think that Family Gourmet Apple Juice would be a good drink for children, especially those that are picky about the foods they eat and the juice they drink. Since the juice is unsweetened, children will not become hyper due to an overabundance of sugar coming from their drink. They will receive more than the amount of Vitamin C needed for the day though, which should be a relief to parents.
Family Gourmet Apple Juice can only be found and bought at Family Dollar stores nationwide. I bought my two quart bottle of Family Gourmet Apple Juice for only one dollar and sixty-five cents, where a comparable size of Mott's Apple Juice on the same shelf cost two dollars and twenty-five cents. The price difference more than makes up for any taste difference.
I would definitely recommend Family Gourmet Apple Juice to families and individuals that need to save a little shopping money and to those that prefer a mild tasting juice. And with the one hundred percent satisfaction guarantee or your money back, there is little or no reason why not to try it.
