Review of Family Values Aluminum Foil

Dollar stores all across the nation have done well as stretching a buck became a top concern for most citizens. One of the products that I bought in the fight to save money is Family Values Aluminum Foil. Like all things bought cheaply for the first time, I was putting a small amount of faith into the company and hoping for a large return.

I bought Family Values Aluminum Foil the day before Thanksgiving. Although I could have bought a more expensive brand such as Reynold's Aluminum Foil at another store, this product was readily available and considerably cheaper, not to mention the added cost of driving to another store.

The hope I had for the quality of this product took a modest nosedive when I opened the box and began unrolling the aluminum foil. The foil felt extremely thin and fragile. My nightmares of a ruined Thanksgiving turkey began instantly. In order to best prevent the nightmare from becoming a real life Thanksgiving disaster I doubled up on the layers under and over the turkey.

After the turkey was cooked though, I realized that I was worried for nothing. I didn't have any uncontrollable rips in the covering foil layers that demanded immediate attention or holes in the bottom foil layers to turn my roasting pan into a burned mess. Whether it was the extra care I used during handling or whether the Family Values Aluminum Foil quality was at play I didn't know yet.

Since roasting the turkey that first day I have used Family Values Aluminum Foil many times and in many ways. And I have discovered that Family Values Aluminum Foil is a better quality then the first impression would lead you to believe. This product does extremely well as a bottom layer on baking pans, a cover up for bowls and plates going into the refrigerator for storage, and for covering the top of baking pans in the oven. Family Values Aluminum Foil is even great for crafts, and used in household fix it chores like painting and caulking.

Family Values Aluminum Foil is distributed and sold by Family Dollar stores nationwide. The Family Values Aluminum Foil measured twelve inches by six point sixty six yards. A 20 square foot box cost an amazingly low eighty-eight cents at my local Family Dollar store. I would recommend Family Values Aluminum Foil to almost anyone that needs to have the necessities and stretch a buck.
