Review of Farmer Q's Market in Marquette, Michigan
Marquette's HQ for Farm Direct Fruit, Vegetables, Beer, Wine, and Other Home Grown Products

United States of America
The Brian's intent is to not only to support the Michigan economy, but that of reducing the amount of carbon footprints here in Michigan. One practice they employ is by using their own Farmer Q's Market eco-friendly hybrid truck to pick-up fruits, vegetables and other Michigan produced products when they become available thought the state. This practice also assists in allowing local Michigan farmers do what they do best, and that's growing fresh produce.
Farmer Q's Market is very reminiscent of a yesteryear country store and street-side vendor that have seemingly disappeared into the woodwork in the midst of todays large corporate retailers. This simply is not the case at Farmer Q's Market, where the beautiful hue of their hardwood floors cast blurred images of fastidious foot traffic reflected from the local office workers and tourist alike getting their apple for the day.
The white painted exterior facade of Farmer Q's Market stands out tastefully amongst the mostly red brick historic buildings Farmer Q's neighbors with in the downtown Marquette area. The fresh fruits and vegetables are gently held captive in bushel baskets within display cases, some of which are lined with red and white checkered linens.
When the Upper Peninsula of Michigan weather is more hospitable here in Marquette, Farmer Q's Market sets-up shop directly behind the their store at the newly built Marquette Commons. The Marquette Commons plays host on weekends for the Downtown Marquette Farmers & Artists Market on Saturdays May 22-October 31st, 9am-2pm. The Marquette Farmers & Artists Market offers a myriad of fresh food items and artists works for sale in an open market atmosphere.
Farmer Q's Market is located in Downtown Marquette, just across from the post office and the hours of operation are: Mon-Fri 9:30am-7pm, Sat 9:30am-6pm, Sun 11-5pm
