Just as the box had said, the Ferratto's Supreme Pizza was loaded with Italian sausage, pepperoni, red and green peppers, onions, black olives, and mozzarella and parmesan cheese. The toppings were better than I had expected, both delicious and fresh tasting. There was no skimping on the amount of toppings my pizza had yet it was not overflowing.
The Ferratto's Supreme pizza has a self rising crust. I chose to follow the baking directions for a soft crust which was to bake on a cooking sheet or pizza pan, compared to the crispy crust directions which was to bake directly on the oven rack. The crust rose well during baking unlike some other inexpensive brands. The outer edge portion did not remain as soft as I would have liked but most of the crust was thick and soft. The bread tasted good, almost as good as DiGiorno pizza crust.
The pizza sauce deserves to be mentioned. Not only did the pizza sauce taste spicy and delicious, there was a generous amount of sauce on the whole pizza. Some inexpensive pizzas have the least amount possible on them, fortunately, the Ferratto's pizza company doesn't that follow that hideous rule for making cheap pizza.
Considering the price, I was very happy with my Ferratto's Supreme Pizza. I would recommend Ferratto's brand of frozen pizza to anyone wanting to save some money on their pizza habit or to anyone that needs to tightly manage their family's grocery budget.
I bought my frozen Ferratto's Supreme Pizza with self rising crust at a local Save-A-Lot grocery store. The low price was an unbelievable three dollars and ninety-nine cents. There was also a Ferratto's Pepperoni Pizza selection which I plan on also trying in the near future. Ferratto's is distributed by the national chain of Save-A-Lot and is only available at Save-A-Lot stores.
