Review of Finishing Touch Hair Trimmer for Women

Carol Khela
I decided to buy this product because little tiny hairs were popping up in facial places that hair never visited before. As I am getting older, I am noticing stray hairs under my chin and on my chin. From a distance, you would not notice them, but when I started seeing them, I diligently started plucking them, one by one. If you have ever plucked these long, fine hairs, you know that "missing them with the tweezer" means you usually take a chunk of skin out instead! It happened that this discussion came up with my sisters and they told me about Finishing Touch. They both use it and have used it on my mother as well.

They were very enthused about it because it claimed to take the place of tweezing hard to reach or see hair. When I bought it, I found it to be very easy to use and to hold. It glides over facial hair and removes hair painlessly. The unit is very light weight and comes with a light that helps you see the tiny hairs that need to be removed. Finishing Touch uses one AAA battery. It also comes with an eyebrow attachment that you fit right over the tip of it. It has two sides for trimming, one for shorter lengths and one for longer lengths. I have used both personally and prefer the shorter length over the other.

When you run the unit over your skin, you must remember to use it in the direction of your hair growth. This product is also very good for removing hair around the bikini line. It does so without razor bumps, cuts or bleeding. People have also used it for hair that grows on toes as well. It states on the product's box that it should not be used for tweezing eyebrows. Me, being me, decided to try it anyway. I quickly found out that it was not effective for me for that particular area because it is hard to control which hairs actually get removed. Unfortunately, I did take a little more off my eyebrow than I wanted to. I feel that if you stick to the instructions, clean the blade periodically and do not use it in places you shouldn't, you will like this product. It sure saves a lot of time plucking individual hairs while making the experience a lot less painful!
