Review of Flirty Girl Fitness Booty Beat Workout

Boring Bump and Grind Exercise

Jan Peterson
If you have a pole in the bedroom, with feather boas and dance tassels in the drawer, then this workout might be right down your dark alley, but it wasn't for me. I found the video more appropriate for ladies who are interested in learning exotic, stripper moves than in exercise.

I decided to try this workout because I thought learning a few bump and grind moves, while working out at the same time, might be fun. However, I found the routine silly, and was not motivated by it. It seemed to me that both the instructor and workout girls behind her were thinking the same thing!

The exercise routine was a boring ten minutes, and somewhat comical. I found myself chuckling at the feather boas draped over the microphones, and the "sexy" moves. Music is a big motivator for me during a workout, but the music in "Booty Beat" sounded like a sleazy B rated movie track, and was out of sync with the flirty girls working out!

What to expect from the Flirty Girl's Booty Beat workout

During the Booty Beat routine, get ready to hook your thumbs in the tops of your leopard skin leggings and gyrate a lot. You'll learn how to run your hands up and down the inside and outside of your thighs during stretches, and perform moves such as the "booty thrust" and "booty shake". You might get light headed like I did when you do five of their "bend down and then flip your hair as you curl back up" moves. (How do the real strippers do that and not pass out?) And if you've never done a "cat crawl" push-up before, after this workout you can add it to your workout resume!

What I liked about Booty Beat

*Not much!

*Some of the moves in Booty Beat did work the muscles

*Booty Beat did give me a few unintended chuckles

What I didn't like about Booty Beat

*I did not find Booty Beat at all motivating.

*While Booty Beat probably contained some moves that could be effective, they seemed designed too much toward working the crowd than working the muscles.

*The instructor in Booty Beat did not seem to be enjoying her role at all. But in her defense, it must be hard to workout and look alluring at the same time.

*I found the music boring and irritatingly out of-sync with the workout's tempo.

Summary of Flirty Girl's Booty Beat

Overall, I found Booty Beat a silly romp and waste of my time for a workout. Who knows, maybe I would have felt differently after two glasses of wine? I would never do it again unless I am forced into a different line of work!
