I have been driving home for lunch almost every day for the past several years. Earlier this week, however, since I have a heck of a time getting to the gym at night after work, I decided I should try to go there during my lunch hour instead.
So far, this has been working out pretty well for me and, at very least; I'm able to get on the treadmill for a half hour each day. However, because of the change, I now have to bring my lunch with me to work. Since there is a somewhat limited selection of items I can eat at my desk while working, I have mostly been making peanut butter sandwiches using the jar of Food Club Creamy Peanut Butter spread that is in our pantry.
I purchased this product a few weeks ago because, much like me, my oldest daughter takes peanut butter sandwiches with her to school. I picked this particular brand because it was considerably cheaper than the better known brands on the shelf. However, when I bought it, I did wonder if I was sacrificing quality in exchange for the better price.
After trying this product, however, I don't feel that was the case.
As I mentioned before, I have brought several peanut butter sandwiches with me to work since making a change to my lunch-time routine. And, so far at least, I have no complaints about this brand. A lot of other bargain brands seem to be a bit too oily both when it comes to the look and taste of the peanut butter. That was not the case with this brand. It doesn't appear to be oily when I spread it on the bread and, more importantly, I don't taste anything but peanuts when I have my sandwiches.
In fact, I think I like this particular peanut butter better than many other brands that are out there, including some of the more expensive brands you normally would see advertised. As a result, the fact I was able to save a significant amount of money on this brand is a plus considering I would even be willing to spend a bit more money on it.
If you are looking for a peanut butter spread to put on your sandwiches (or your child's sandwiches), I recommend looking for this one so you can save some money without giving up quality.
