This is totally a gas guzzling mean machine. The Mustang has a 5.4 Liter Dual overhead cam engine. The engine is equipped with an 8 cylinder, 32 value supercharger with 500 horsepower. With that much power you will be going 0-60 in the low four seconds. With an engine like that you will only be getting 14 city/20 highway with a 16 gallon tank. Imagine just tapping on the acceleration and flying down the road.
With all that power you are going to need some great handling. The Mustang comes with P285/40R18 96Z tires. That means it comes with a standard 18 inch rims and performance tires. With front independent suspension, front and rear stabilizer bar, MacPherson strut front suspension, and solid axle rear suspension you will be able to make turns and driving smoothly.
For your convenience you will have all power in the vehicle. Also includes cruise control, adjustable steering wheel, cup holders, power steering, controls on steering wheel, and front console. Do not forget the air conditioning, alloy trims, door mats, leather seats, and 6 disks CD player with MP3.
When you are going that fast down the road you will need many safety features. The mustang is well equipped in that department. Standard features include front and rear ventilated disc brakes, traction control, passenger airbag, remote anti-theft alarm system, tire pressure monitoring, electronic brakeforce distribution, 4-wheel ABS, dual front with head protection chambers side-mounted airbags and engine immobilizer.
Ford offers the Mustang with a 3 year or 36,000 standard warranty. That will cover from bumper to bumper. Mustang also has a 5 year or 60,000 drivetrain warranty that will cover all you major components and a 5 year rust warranty on your paint job. If you are looking for a hot rod here it is the 2009 Mustang Shelby GT500. The American Legend once again reborn.

Nice! The new Shelby's are bad-ass!
Not much on cars. Sorry. Just so it gets me where I need to go and has an air-conditioners (hot this time of year in the South!), I'm ok.
You get around! A round of applause! I wonder if this car was responsible for the many girls named Shelby.
Great read for a great car for sure!
Super write up!!!!
excellent review!! You write about so many different things and so well :)
Or Shelby. How cool would that be - to be named Shelby and have a Shelby :)
Swooning...I'd love to have a Mustang even though my name isn't Sally.
