Review of Furry Vengeance

Furry Vengeance stars Brendan Fraser as the character Dan Sanders as the lead role of the movie, he plays the role of a real estate developer that decides to uproot his whole family consisting of his wife (played by Brooke Shields) and their only child or teenager named Tyler (played by Matt Prokop) to an unidentified area in Oregon. He ends up taking them to an area that overlooks what looks to be a construction project in the works for a McMansion community in a naturally beautiful area. It seems to annoy and frustrate all of the local wildlife animals, it's all lead by a cackling, wise raccoon, who looks to wreak havoc on anyone that looks to destroy the forest and that includes Dan Sanders and any other interloper.

I'm very used to movie's that have some mediocre moments or jokes mixed into them and just knew I wasn't going to get all that much Oscar worthy material but it is in fact a children's movie. I'm not saying that all kids movie's are pointless or bland I just know when it's not made by big name companies like Pixar or Dreamworks it's usually a failure of a movie and I'm just saying. Even with my expectations on the down low this film Furry Vengeance just isn't funny to say the least, it pains me to say this, this just might be the worst movie to be considered a comedy when their wasn't anything to laugh at, the worst film I've ever seen and worthy of a Razzie award. When a movie's tied into the genre of comedy and it doesn't bring any laughs to the viewers it becomes a movie that's both terrible and boring to watch.

Brendan Fraser seems to pull off goofy characters in other films with great success but in this film he falls flat on his face. There's way to many pointless characters that shouldn't have been cast and the outcome of the movie's quite predictable it never gets you thinking because you basically know what's going to happen. It also has some major flaws for example Dan Sanders (Brendan Frazer) gets tossed into a bees nest and is smothered in bee stings, than the next day he doesn't have a single bee sting on his body, which he should have since it doesn't take a day to heal but a couple of days to do so.

Brendan Fraser looked terrible, he looked overweight and uncomfortable in his role in the movie. Brooke Shields can certainly be a funny actress but throughout the entire movie she's playing the role as the straight man, so most of her talents her really under wraps. She didn't really look all that good either which is usually a shocker. Both Brooke Shields and Brendan Fraser were like the secondary characters whereas the cute looking animals appeared to be the main characters of the movie. There was also a lot of terribly done CGI stand ins that I haven't really seen from other films before except for this one. I would strongly recommend that you don't see this movie Furry Vengeance you'll only be setting yourself for disappointment unless you'd like to see for yourself on why this is a terribly made movie than be my guess and check it out. I truly appreciate the individuals that have taken time out of their day to read this review I am certainly thankful for that.
