After trying many different facial cleansers for many different years, I discovered that I liked scrubs the best. To provide some background, I have combination skin that is prone to breakouts in the t-zone (the forehead, nose, and chin), and I found it difficult to find a facial cleanser that would keep my problem areas clean without being too harsh on the other areas of my face. If I use cleansers which are specially medicated or designed for acne, then they literally destroy the rest of my face. I once tried some special acne cleanser that actually left skin peeling in strips off of my cheeks because it dried out my skin so much. I have found that microbead scrubs exfoliate and clean my problem areas without overdrying the rest of my skin.
I have tried numerous brands of microbead scrubs including high-end brands and cheaper, less-expensive brands. I picked up the Garnier Nutri-Pure one day while shopping at ULTA, because I have used their hair products in the past and found they gave me the results I wanted for a low price. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the tube of cleanser only cost $5.05, so I figured I didn't have too much to lose.
I took the product home and tried it right away, because I get fairly excited about new cosmetics and skin care purchases. I was immediately impressed with this cleanser. Like most microbead scrubs, it left my skin feeling really skin. However, the cleanser itself it very creamy, and left my skin feeling very soft and hydrated. I have never experienced this with another scrub.
I continued to use this product for a few weeks and found that my skin was still hydrated, even though we are approaching the winter months in my area, and this usually causes my face to dry out. However, my skin is still feeling and looking great, and I have no breakouts or pimples. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with combination skin.
The cleanser's key ingredients include Vitamin E and grape that work as anti-oxidants to help detoxify the skin; Vitamin B5 to moisturize and prevent overdrying, and green leaf extract to naturally soothe and refresh the skin.
Overall, this product is excellent for both the price and the results offered. I have seen only positive results, and this product has outperformed most of the upper-end brands that I have tried, including Murad, Exuviance, and Clinique.
