Giant Panda Chinese Food was our second option for delivery in North Dakota. My daughter got the recommendation from the front desk. It was the only option for Chinese delivery that she gave us.
The ordering process was simple. The employee at the Giant Panda Chinese Restaurant in Fargo spoke English well and was easily understandable despite a small accent. He got the order right on the first try and quoted us a delivery time of 40 minutes.
We ordered 2 egg rolls and a beef with broccoli with white rice to share from the Giant Panda Chinese Restaurant. The cost was $13.50 plus tip. That seems a little overpriced for what we received. We double checked the total but it was accurate.
The driver delivered it directly to our room at the motel. Some drivers will only deliver to the front desk. He arrived in about 20 minutes. We were surprised that the food got here so fast. The driver said that the Giant Panda Chinese Restaurant is pretty close to the motel. He said that he delivers here frequently. Given the speed at which the food arrived we feel that he must be here often.
We weren't thrilled with what he brought. There was only one of everything even though we were sharing. One fork, plate, napkin, fortune cookie is all he brought. We made do with extra napkins and an extra fork pack that we had. My daughter and I were glad that we had those extra pieces.
The food was hot and tasty. The egg rolls were among the best that I have had. The beef with broccoli was good but a little less flavorful than most. There was no knife to cut the large broccoli chunks with. These were crisp and hard to deal with.
Our order from the Giant Panda Chinese Restaurant in Fargo was a little hit and miss with the side items and condiments. Included with the food was a large bowl of sweet and sour sauce. This confused us we didn't really have anything to go with it. There were two packages of soy sauce but no duck sauce.
It wasn't spectacular but it was good and still hot upon arrival. Next time I'm in Fargo, North Dakota I would again consider ordering from the Giant Panda. But, I would double check with the driver for plates and napkins before he left.

From what I've heard, they have pretty good food but I suppose it's hit and miss :) The Giant Panda is actually right by the apartment I'm moving to pretty soon, so I'll likely try it out at some point...
