Cosmetic Bag
The back of the packaging goes into even more detailed information about each product. Upon opening the package, I noticed the cosmetic bag first. It is purple, pink and white striped. The size is pretty good, measuring at 9 ½ W x 8 ¼ H. I opened the bag and realized that all of the items in this gift pack could easily fit into the cosmetic bag.
The first item I look at was the Venus Breeze Razor. The razor comes attached to a plastic container and when the container is opened from the back there are two packaged razors inside. There is also a mysterious white plastic piece inside that is currently unknown. I open up a razor package and can immediately smell the shave gel bars. I attach the razor to the shaver, which is very simple to do. Some razors are very difficult to put together and in the past I have almost cut myself. Not so with this one. It snaps on very nicely. As far as the gel bars go, I was a little weary of these. My first experience with soap bars attached to razors resulted in many cuts to my legs, so I was a little hesitant to try these. However, upon trying them I was very surprised at how little pressure I needed to use in order to shave. I didn't have to press hard at all, and the razor seemed to glide effortlessly over my skin. This razor also works well because the gel bars bend and form with the skin, therefore there is no need to press hard in order for the razor blade to touch the skin.
As for the mysterious white plastic piece contained in the plastic container, upon closer inspection I realized that it attaches to the back of the container and has two adhesive labels on it so that it may be attached to the shower wall.
The next items are Pantene Pro-V shampoo and conditioner. These are small travel size bottles that are 1.7 fl. oz. which fit perfectly with the cosmetic bag.
The Olay Firming Revivor Body Lotion is next and is also a 1 fl. oz. trial size. It claims to moisturize by firming your skin. Trying a little on my hand, I notice it has a nice smell, almost faintly like baby powder but with a sweet smelling perfume in it. After applying, my skin feels smooth, almost silky. Not sure about firming up my skin though, I'll have to get back to you on that one.
Lastly is the pumice stone. This item comes all packaged in plastic. The pumice stone has a wood handle on it which I would think would be slippery to use, but that was not the case.
All in all, I thought this package was great and I look forward to continuously using the razor. It is an excellent gift idea for the woman that likes to travel and try new things.

Post a CommentI've tried similar razors, but the handles get gross from being left in the shower. I can't remember the brand I used, but it had ridges that were impossible to clean, so I'd end up throwing it out. Now, I just use disposable razors, which aren't great for the environment. I need to look into recyclable ones. I think Recycline sells some.
