Review of Go-Mama-Hosting

Being a paid to read webmaster Go-Mama-Hosting should be the best pick. Go-Mama-Hosting is meant for paid to read webmasters. They have first hand experience with countless of their scripts, and looking at their website you are lead to believe they are what they claim, professionals above all else. Unlike other hosting sites, Go-Mama provides you with a demo of the control panel, so you know what to expect before you purchase. This makes it easy on anyone who may be afraid to jump into the waters of the Paid to Read Industry, let alone a website domain.

But dealing with Go-Mama-Hosting is an entirely different story. See there are things you aren't told unlike other hosting companies. First and foremost important is flood protection. Flood protection can be a feature that is useful, or harmful, all depending upon what kind of site you are running, as well as how much you plan to access it, upload and edit. You are not informed that your site has flood protection enabled until its too late, and you are trapped into dealing with it. Live pages being edited a few too many times, and wham you are banned from ftp, and even viewing your own domain! This becomes more then annoying a few dozen times. Talking to support you are told to provide them with IP's so they can un-ban them thusly allowing you to edit until your IP changes again. Any IP by default that views your control panel, or FTP's should be granted access. They have the complete ability to see your IP, even before asking, so why they ask is beyond me, seems boldly foolish.

Kevin is the most wonderful person in the world, and really should be working alone, or with someone of his own caliber, as whom ever is helping him is causing him more work. Time and time again, someone other then him, has gone to install things, only to end up breaking them, and ignoring support emails begging for the items to be fixed. Nearly 24 hours later, Kevin steps in, and cleans up that person's mess. There appears to be no way to directly contact Kevin, thusly dealing with a lesser support person, who can't seem to understand half the things they are being asked, then finally getting help from Kevin. Why even bother? Obviously it's above their level of understanding. Why waste people's valuable time? If you have to ask more then a few questions, and you still don't understand, pass it to Kevin instead of ignoring it, assuming or doing something that wasn't even mentioned.

I have dealt with many hosting companies in my time, never have I encountered the problems that I have with Go-Mama-Hosting. Nearly 24 hours after encountering a problem from a script they installed and broke, is ludicrous! That's 24 hours of business lost because of the lesser support's mistake.

I truly feel sorry for Kevin, I know what it's like to clean up after a person, but to have a person give a company a bad name, it's time for replacement or moving out on your own.

If you don't really need support, or to update your website.... ever, then this is the perfect hosting company for you. If however, like the rest of us, you plan to work on your site from time to time, encounter problems you may not understand, and need some sort of assistance, move as far as you can from Go-Mama-Hosting and wish them the best.

Yes, there have been people who have been very happy with Go-Mama-Hosting. I know a rare few. But those that that seem to be happy with Go-Mama, never work on their site. So what does that have to say about experience? Buying a template and uploading it, isn't considered experience.
