It takes up a lot less space than a traditional full size swing and costs about half the price at just $50. It is super easy to move around the house so if your baby falls asleep you can move it to your bedroom or bring to the kitchen when you are cooking. The Swing Glider allows you a place to set your infant car seat and make it useful when inside your home. Many babies fall asleep while riding in the car and now you can simply carry their car seat inside and attach it to the swinging frame without disrupting your little one.
This swing is well made and easy to use. It's sturdy and your baby will be safe using the 5 point harness your infant car seat provides. A bonus is the existing canopy on your seat can be used to block the sun if you are outside or next to a bright window. In my experience the batteries last a long time, we only replaced them once within six months and it was more likely due to my older children leaving it on when not in use.
This swing can be used until your baby outgrows their infant car seat up to 22-30 lbs depending on whether you have a snug ride or safe seat. The motor is strong enough to swing your baby at a gentle speed but quiet enough to not disturb them when they fall asleep. Attaching your car seat is as simple as it is to latch it into the base of the car and removing it simply requires pulling up the lever in the back and lifting gently.
The Graco SwingGlider is a wonderful affordable alternative to a bulky baby swing. If your infant enjoys the back and forth motion and tunes it will be a product you won't regret purchasing.
You can find more information on this innovative baby swing at www.gracobaby.com and Babies R Us sells them in their car seat aisle. The swing frame glides your baby to happiness and possibly even sleep without taking up much space or additional funds.
