This past week I have been on a flavored coffee kick, and have been picking up every interesting flavored coffee I can find. Marshall's and TJMaxx seem to deliver some of the best, and weirdest flavored coffee's I have ever come across.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, by Grande Kaffe, caught my eye immediately, and the scent that the bag was dispersing through the small included holes in the bag captured me.
Grande Kaffe, Grande Kaffe, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Coffee, gave off a very genuine Reese's Peanut Butter Cup fragrance, and that was more than enough to convince me to buy it.
The Flavor:
Once home, I quickly began brewing up a small pot of my new flavored coffee. The scent as it brews is simply fabulous, an awesome combination of freshly brewed coffee, with a glorious mouth watering chocolate peanut butter cup tinge in the air.
The taste is a little weak though in the peanut butter cup department. The initial flavor is that of regular coffee, and a very small aftertaste of chocolate peanut butter cup follows, but again, it is very subtle, which is not a bad thing, I just was expecting a little bit more of a kick in terms of flavor seeing that the brewed cup smelled so strong of chocolate peanut butter cup.
Overall:
The coffee is not as strong as I would have preferred, but due to the fact that it is still great coffee, I would definitely buy it again. It is also much cheaper for this bag of coffee in comparison to other competitor coffee brands, and the taste is just as delicious, if not better.
